Pacific Environmental's universal spill kits contain sorbents which consist of specially treated polypropylene based material that will absorb both hydrophobic liquids such as oil, gasoline, diesel, hydraulic fluid and the like as well as hydrophilic liquids such as all water and alcohol based substances.

Universal spill kits are very useful in situations where a wide variety of materials may need to be cleaned up on a moments notice. A great example is for use with vehicles. Universal Kits can be used to clean up engine coolant, which is comprised of propylene glycol and water, as well as motor oil, all liquid fuels, and brake/clutch hydraulic fluid.

Contents are safe for absorbing nearly all liquids, including concentrated acids* and bases as well as organic solvents
Spill kits help compliance with 40 CFR 112.7 (1) (v11) & 40 CFR 263.30(a)

*Contents safe for absorbing fuming sulfuric acid and highly concentrated hydrochloric acid, but not recommended for hydrofluoric acid.
