Use of the Pacific Environmental Inc. (herein "the company") website, its content, architecture, and programming (herein "the company website"), is subject to the following terms and conditions.  The company website is maintained and operated by the company and is the property of the company, its manufacturers, and software providers.  All aspects of the website are proprietary in nature and may not be used elsewhere without the express written permission of the company.  Aspects of the company website may also be subject to the license agreements of various software providers.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled for a full refund by the customer/client/buyer (herein "the customer") if the company is notified via phone or email before merchandise is shipped from the warehouse.  The company reserves the right to cancel any order at any time before shipment to the customer is complete.

Return Policy

Merchandise can be returned for a full refund if the customer initiates the return process within 30 days if merchandise is unused and returned in original packaging.  However the customer is responsible for all return shipping/freight services, costs, and fees.  This includes incorrect merchandise by fault of the customer.  A 10% restocking fee will apply.

Defective merchandise or incorrect merchandise on the fault of the company or its manufactures can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. A return shipping label or freight service will be provided to the customer free of charge.  However the customer is responsible for coordinating pickup or drop off with the common courier or freight service designated by the company.

To initiate a return, the customer must contact the company via phone or email to obtain a return merchandise authorization (herein "RMA"), at which point the customer will be assigned an RMA number.  The RMA number must be written on the return shipping container or invoice, clearly labeled as RMA.

Privacy Policy

Pacific Environmental Inc. takes your privacy seriously.  The company will never sell the customer's personal information to anyone, ever.  In order to process purchases, the company must pass on the customer's personal information (may include all fields when creating an account as well as credit card or banking information) directly or indirectly to our associated payment gateway, merchant account provider (credit card processor), credit card companies, and/or associated banks.  In addition, shipping and other contact information must be provided to the company's manufacturers, common couriers, and/or freight service providers for shipping purposes.  The company may share the customer's contact information with our partner company Advanced Fuel Systems Inc.  The company will never share the customer's financial information with anyone other than the aforementioned financial institutions.

Shipping

The company makes every effort to bill the customer AT COST.  The company does not intend to profit from shipping and handling fees.  Shipping fees listed during checkout are ESTIMATES.  The company website gathers these rates directly from the common courier website.  Please note that some merchandise is listed as "Freight Only" and cannot be shipped by common courier.  Unless otherwise noted, all items ship by common courier.  Shipping rates are fairly accurate, but remain estimates.  If shipping rates vary by +/-20% from the original shipping fees listed during checkout, the customer will be contacted by a representative of the company (herein “representative”) to be notified of a shipping surcharge or partial refund.  If an order contains merchandise marked "Freight Only", the customer will be contacted by a representative with a freight quote and the total fee for shipping/freight.  Unless otherwise specified by the company website or a representative, the customer is responsible for all shipping/freight fees.

Tax Information (State of California Only)

The customer may have additional State of California sales/use tax liability in addition to the amounts calculated during checkout.  The company collects all sales/use tax from the customer mandated by State of California law.  A rate of 8.75% is applied for all merchandise shipped within San Diego County.  A flat rate of 8.25% is applied to all merchandise shipped within the State of California outside of San Diego County.  The customer is responsible for all additional tax liability on top of the rates applied during checkout if mandated by the customer's various tax jurisdictions (also known as "courtesy tax").  The company does not collect courtesy tax from the customer on purchases made through the website.
